Hoola Hoop!
Tomi next door was impressed that River's Mom could hoola hoop! I taught the neighborhood girls tricks with the hoola hoop. River picked it up after some practice!
Projects!
River took the camera and started taking pictures. I love her pictures because they are often of things that I wouldn't think of to snap, but that are things we see everyday and are special in one way or another.
Our spearmint plant -
If you want a plant that you cannot kill - try spearmint!! It doesn't need to be watered. Every year I pull it out and it comes back in the spring. Rabbits don't touch it. The perfect kid/desert plant. Oh, and it smells good!

We regularly have hummingbirds fly into our house if the door is left open.
We caught this one and River was able to hold it for a minute.
