Frog Creek

Frog Creek is such a fun adventure.  It is so beautiful and green with the water not too deep.  The creek is also close to home!
Each year we go to McDonalds to get some hamburgers and icream, and then head up for a picnic on the shores of frog creek.  After our food, we enjoy splashing in the water and catching little fish and frogs!

The mud right here just pulled you in!
Pretty deep and squishy.  Too much fun!

Here is how small the frogs were:  River is holding one - it is the small bumb between her ring and middle fingers.  They had just barely turned into frogs.  Teeny Tiny.

River's beautiful feather - lots of treasures to be found.
The other day we went up to a cow pond fishing, and found a bird's nest - I didn't have a camera with me, but Silver was so proud that she found it.

The Best Time!
These were the tiniest, cutest frogs!
Pink lady bug on the middle finer extended - can't really see it in focus, but River's found Red, Silver, Yellow and Pink Ladybugs this summer.  :)
See ya frogs!

  1. You guys are so good. I think I get scared off sometimes because of how much work an adventure looks like... I like the picture of Summer looking back at you- just happy to be along for the ride.

  2. WOW! That looks fun! Where is the Frog Creek? River might be to an age where she would enjoy reading The Magic Tree House books. We started reading them when Jakob was five. The kids live in Frog Creek Pennsylvania. River might get a kick out of that, and I think she would love the stories!!
